Coffee of the Week
This week we have the AMERICANO ☕️
Ours comes in a 12oz (2 shots) or a 16oz (4 shots).
Origins: during WWII 🌎 ‼️ Americans 🇺🇸 stationed in Europe would ask local espresso 🫘 shops 🏬 for DRIP coffees, they did not have that so instead they would add water to their espresso creating a drink they coined the AMERICANO ☕️
An AMERICANO is espresso 🫘with water💧It can be served hot 🔥 or cold 🧊. Simple. It pairs well with just about anything due to its simplicity.
Fun manager fact: I was in Ireland 🇮🇪 last year and my father👨🏼tried to order a drip ☕️, something this espresso bar did not have, he would be called a silly 🤪 American 🇺🇸 and then be given an Americano which he DRANK!

“Can’t go wrong with a cookie” -anonymous customer

This week meet the CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE 🍫 🍪 and the PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE 🥜🍪The dynamic duo. 🍫 🍪 🥜 🍪
The chocolate chunk cookie is our version of the classic chocolate chip cookie but with more chocolate. The peanut butter cookie has chunks of peanut butter and chunks of reese’s pieces. 🍫 🥜
Warm, gooey, and perfect around 6am6️⃣ in the morning☀️ when we open. They do get cold as the day goes on, but you can always ask our staff to warm it up in the oven. 🔥
Either cookie 🍪 pairs well with a hot foamy cappuccino, a nice sweet and hot latte ☕️ or a simple glass of milk 🥛
Are you a chocolate chip cookie son🍪👶 or a peanut 🥜 👧daughter? Or something else 😎? Maybe you can mash the two cookies together and eat it like a ball? ⚽️ Only one way to do that: come to Blackheart.

Come to Blackheart Coffee early to see our empty PARKING LOT. 🚙
Pro tip: The best time to get a spot is around 6am(open) to around 7:45am(time people start commuting to work/school)
Some customers have called it one of the most exclusive lots around. With only 5 spots, the parking goes fast here.
If you can’t find a spot, we recommend parking in the neighborhood. However, for those that are lucky enough to get a space, it is a perfect few steps away from our entrance🚪as well as our kind baristas 👨🏽, good food 🌯and even better coffee ☕️

🥐 PoTW 🥐 CHEESE DANISH 🪤
Pastry of the week. This week we meet the CHEESE DANISH. Flakey, rich, sweet, and filled with cheese 🧀 and topped with powdered sugar 🤍.
Baked fresh every morning the cheese danish pairs well with a foamy cappuccino or a simply drip coffee ☕️. Basically any hot drink 🔥.
One regular called it “the best pastry I’ve ever tried”
