FREE BACKPACKS, FOOD AND GOODIES On Saturday, October 3rd, The and Puigs’s House for Children is partnering with Sri Lankan Youth Organization , Project Pursuit of Happiness and our City of San Fernando community angels Magaly and Chris Colelli from , to present Operation Rise Above to our Hispanic Community.

This is an event that will provide essential school supplies to underprivileged youth in the Los Angeles area.

The event is taking place at Magaly's Tamales and Mexican Grill, 134 N Maclay Ave, San Fernando 91340 on Saturday starting at at 9:00 am.

We will be giving away over 500 backpacks, food and goodies to children from local identified schools, and we will have a few extra backpacks on hand for children not on our list courtesy of Magaly Colelli. Plus and his will be providing delicious pan dulce for the kids!

We are honored to partner with SLYO, who has committed to bring Puig’s House a program that will have children from Puigs House shadow local physicians and follow in their footsteps in the medical profession.

and had pledged to unite that village for our children.

Backpacks and food will be handed out if the walk up windows at Magalys. Come by!
