It is truly guests like your family who make everyone on our team want to do get up and share our hospitality with. revealed Tuesday she was diagnosed last year with stage 1 breast cancer. After ongoing surgery and chemo and is now cancer free. We honor Jenna as Red Maple’s Newsmaker Latte for bringing awareness to the importance of regular mammograms. Early detection does save lives!
Join us next Tuesday, Oct 15th at Red Maple from 9am-5pm for our 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Event. Last year, 26 women benefited from free mammograms. This year we shooting for 30.
We want to thank for partnering with us this year to provide those free mammograms to women who are 40+ and uninsured or underinsured.

Red Maple is hosting its 2nd Annual Free Mammogram Event on Tuesday, Oct 15th. This year, has come on board as a co-sponsor. Last year, we provided 26 free mammograms and our goal is 30 this year. Spread the word. Space is limited. The only requirements are women 40+ who are uninsured or underinsured. To sign up in advance contact Melanie Lewis with 714-915-3101. This So-Cal based foundation works with to take coach with its state of the art mammography equipment across the region to provide free mammograms. Early Detection truly saves lives.

Join us in celebrating the life of Dame Maggie Smith, Red Maple’s current Newsmaker Latte. One of Britain’s most recognizable and prolific actresses, she was known for her wit in both comedic and dramatic roles. Her extensive career on stage and screen over seven decades led to numerous awards, including multiple Emmy awards, multiple Golden Globes, a Tony award, and multiple BAFTA awards. Made a dame inn1990 by Queen Elizabeth, one of the highlights of her career was playing Violet Crawley in the British period drama, Downton Abbey.

During the 1980’s, “Dr. Ruth” became a household name and a major cultural figure. Her media career started with a radio show called S*xually Speaking. When her audience grew despite no promotion, she was offered the chance to host her own TV show, Good S*x! With Dr. Ruth, and then later, The Dr. Ruth Show. And even later, Ask Dr. Ruth. And even later The All New Dr. Ruth Show.
Americans could not get enough of Dr Ruth and her straight-forward talk about s*x. She appeared on pretty much every major talk show. She even had a very successful computer game.
She was honored with many accolades and honorary doctorates throughout her career. As a child at age 10, she escaped N**i Germany never to see her parents again. Her parents were killed in the early 40’s. She made her way to the US at age 28 in 1956.

Who can forget Sweatin’ to the Oldies with Richard Simmons…an icon in the world of fitness. Born Milton Teagle Simmons, Richard had his own television series, the Richard Simmons Show, which aired from 1980-1984 and earned him multiple Emmy awards. He was known for personally answering emails and letters and making hundreds of phone calls each week to those seeking his help. His trademark attire was candy-striped Dolphin shorts and tank tops decorated with Swarovski crystals. Richard passed away on July 13th, 1 day after he celebrated his 76th birthday.
