Well, it's been a ride. 1000s of miles of riding, actually.

We invite you to partake in our FINAL DELIVERY tomorrow.

And to commemorate this last veggie-run-ride, I've put together a little song.....

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final transport
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, I’ll keep my comport
We’ve had a plate that's full
We traveled each and every highway (and the 101, and 405, and 5 and 170)
And more, much more than this
Yes, it was Homeside.

Regrets, I've had a few (Like boiling Brussel sprouts— No! Roast those little nut jobs)
But then again, too few to mention (whoops, I mentioned the sprouts)
I sourced fresh produce
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each bounteous bag and took a big ride
And more, much more than this
Oh, it was Homeside

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew (Like those leeks)
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out (again with the boiled Brussel sprouts!)
I wore a mask and I stood tall
And it was or-gan-ic.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried (onions)
I've had my fill, my share of gassing
And now, as tears subside
Its time for passing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh yes, yes, it was fresh
And it was Homeside.

For what is pro-duce, what has it got
If not potassium, dietary fiber, folate (folic acid), vitamin A, and vitamin C, then it has naught
To eat the things one truly craves
And not the overly processed food of silly knaves
We did not hedge, we delivered veg
It was or-gan-ic.

Yes, it was Homeside!

Dear HomesideFresh folks,

It is with a tinge of sadness and a ton of gratitude that I share with you that we are bringing our HomesideFresh delivery service to a close.

My pre-pandemic work has picked up again, rising fuel costs and rising wholesale costs as a knock-on of supply chain issues, coupled with a drop in our clientele as people have resumed the normalcy of things like procuring their own produce have brought us to this point.

We sincerely thank you for your patronage. We hope that our service provided one less thing to be concerned with in the very uncertain times that were the early pandemic. I am very proud that we were able to help hundreds of families eat healthier.

But, we're not done YET!

Our final delivery will be this coming Saturday, November 20th.

Friends and neighbors, I have to warn you against Cyberdyne Systems and Skynet. Sure, their slick marketing promises a rosy future, but if you want to place a safe bet, go with organic.

Organics will never turn against you. You won't see a T-1000 cauliflower from the future traveling back in time to try and stop John Conner. No, they and their brethren (and sisteren... and non-binary-en) will support your immune system, your health and your family's well being. Sure, there may be some gas involved, but that's a small price to pay for the survival of our species.
