One year ago, we opened the doors. What happened next, we couldn’t have scripted.
Founding Membership to Retreat by TGS closes on June 10th. After that date, our initiation fee will increase, and we will cap the waitlist for Founding Member applications. This is the last chance to get access at our lowest rates. If you’ve been waiting, this is the window.
At the end of June, we’re celebrating with the people who made it possible. Founding Members will be invited to an exclusive rooftop celebration.

We call this the first ten because what we are hoping for is another ten, and another after that.
We’re in the people business. The business of connecting one another and bringing our community together. This is why we gather and the core of who we are. Community is not founded, it’s found. Thank you for ten.

Last month at Retreat, we had the distinct honor of hosting Dr. Raphael W. Bostic, the 15th President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, during his final tenure in office.
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
As the first African American to serve as president of a regional Federal Reserve Bank in its 111-year history and a member of the Federal Open Market Committee, President Bostic brought unparalleled expertise on monetary policy. His ability to combine professional excellence with genuine human connection allowed us an evening of inspiration, fun, and authentic conversation.
This intimate gathering exemplified our commitment to providing members access to the leaders who shape America's economic policy.

We are relocating. After years of trying to make this location everything this community deserves, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors of our Los Angeles club on March 31.
Since opening four years ago, this building has brought significant challenges that remain unresolved. We couldn’t reach an agreement with our landlord on a path forward, and you deserve better from our club spaces. We’re not willing to continue with anything less.
This is a transition of space, not a pause in community. We will continue programming and connecting until we find a new place. Thank you to every member, our staff, and everyone who has been a part of this journey. We know this location and the memories held within it are special to many, and we will forever cherish that.
Join us March 30th to toast what we built and celebrate what comes next.

Black women continue to prove that even when the foundation shakes, we find new ground.
When we launched 300 Strong in October, we couldn’t ignore what was unfolding. By December 2025, Black women’s unemployment rose to 7.3%, a four-year high. The steepest impact hit college-educated Black women, as DEI rollbacks and federal cuts reshaped the professional landscape.
Jhadee Gorden walked into 300 Strong in Atlanta. This Women’s History Month, she returned with a story of what shifted after.
Why we gather was never built on theory. It was built on movement. Learn more about how The Gathering Spot helps connect professionals and request an invitation to join us at the link in bio.
