As part of Black Business Month, Black Murrieta had the pleasure of stopping by Fishbone Seafood Menifee to support an incredible Black-owned business and spend a few minutes with owner Ann, who shared what guests can expect when they stop in.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality, old-school classics playing in the background, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where great food and great people come together.
Now, let’s talk about the food…
I ordered the catfish, shrimp & grits, mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single item exceeded expectations. The catfish was perfectly seasoned, the shrimp & grits were packed with flavor, and the mac & cheese and yams tasted like true Southern comfort food. Every bite reminded me why supporting local restaurants like this matters.
Whether you’re looking for a family dinner, a lunch spot with coworkers, or an easy takeout option after a busy day, Fishbone Seafood should be at the top of your list.
