Dear Highland Park, as you may know by now, we had to close our doors for good. Thank you for welcoming us and enjoying some great pizzas and pints of ale with us.

Unfortunately, behind the scenes, we were enduring a lengthy dispute with the landlord which we could not resolve. Goliath has won this battle.
/
We put our hearts and souls into fixing up this place, just as we did in Van Nuys. We built it with our own hands, sweat and tears, poured every last dime into it and then some, because we knew it could/would be awesome.
/
We want to thank all of our wonderful employees. Some are angry with us, we understand that. Just know that we are very grateful for the time you spent with us.
/
On a separate note, times are tough for restaurants right now. Cold weather and strikes have taken a toll. We all try to put on a brave face, but there is trauma happening. If you can at all afford to go out, please go have a meal at your local spot. They need you right now.

Have you tried our fresh hop pale ale? We harvested the hops ourselves from the wonderful farm where we send our spent grain to feed their animals. The hops went into the beer within 24 hours…the beer is incredibly fragrant and pleasantly bitter. Make sure you have some because we only make it once a year!
