Just 10 more services starting tonight for wood-fired seafood, Moroccan inspired chicken, fresh pastas, and delicious cocktails by 😢

It’s been a great run, and we are so proud of our cuisine, the design, the beverage program, our staff, and everything we poured into Isla. Yet in this post pandemic world running restaurants is tougher than ever. So when you choose to go out, don’t forget to support local businesses and local food, voting with your dollar is real and it counts. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us and loved what we do. I hope to see you before our last night on September 21st.

Our dear friend will DJ for the final Isla Noches this coming Friday, 9/6. 🪩 As sad as we are to be closing, we couldn’t think of a more perfect person to play us out. Ned and his partner (and winemaker) Michèle have been incredibly supportive of me and Brian, as well as all three restaurants we opened since 2021. They are inspiring creatives, super foodies, and beloved friends. Our hi-fi system has basically run round the clock since it was installed, and that too, is Ned’s doing. Music is such an integral part of giving a space a sense of place, and we’re super grateful to have someone who shares that love and belief to spin Isla’s swan songs. If you’re gonna go out, go out dancing. See you Friday!

Friends, it is with a heavy heart that we share our closure with you on September 21, 2024. After eighteen months of operating as best we can, we’ve made the difficult decision to close due to economic factors affecting both Isla and the industry at large.

While we are saddened to announce the closure of Isla, we are incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty of our community during the time we’ve been here. It has been a privilege to give our best to you and to be a part of so many special moments in your lives. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredibly dedicated staff, wonderful purveyors, and the beloved guests who supported us and made Isla such a special place.

It is extremely hard to close especially when the kitchen team is performing at its all time best. and did such a beautiful job cultivating our wine list, made a cocktail program beyond our wildest dreams, and changed our whole team for the better as CDC these last months. Thank you to our entire team - from opening to present - for sharing your talents and hospitality with us. Each of you has made Isla what it is.

In our final three weeks, we will continue to offer our full menu and we would love to see you. Please come and celebrate what a unique opportunity we’ve had to realize our dream at 2424 Main Street.

When sungolds are hitting they are my favorite thing in the planet, you will find them all over both of our kitchens these months, their like ambrosia.

Available on our Sundowners and Moonlighters happy hour menus, sungold crostini with shaved broncha from is my happy place at the moment. Join us from 4-6 or 9-11 each night for bites and $10 classic cocktails or wine 🍸 🍷 ☀️

Please join us for our first birthday party, next Sunday, April 14! 🎉 It has been a helluva year and we are so excited to ring it in with our locals, regulars, friends, and team. Thank you so much for all of your support! I am so grateful to partners for keeping all the fires going and for making it possible for us to be in this space. Now it’s time to celebrate!
