In light of the recent and deeply troubling acts of violence carried out by our current administration and ICE, we want to reaffirm to our community that Little Barn is, and always will be, a space rooted in love, dignity, and diversity.
Little Barn was founded by two Latinas from immigrant families, and many members of our team also come from immigrant backgrounds. We stand firmly for justice and maintain zero tolerance for hate, discrimination, or violence of any kind.
We honor our parents for their courage in leaving everything they knew to build a future in a new country, so that we might have access to opportunity, safety, and hope. We are horrified by the reality that current events continue to show that no one is truly safe, regardless of status. Now more than ever, we must remain united and refuse to let fear or cruelty create separation among us.
We will be open today 01/30/26, offering our space as it was always intended: a place for our community to gather, connect, caffeinate, and nourish one another before taking to the streets. Our patio remains a sanctuary of rest and care, open to all. No purchase is necessary; come sit, read, listen to the birds, and be in community.
If you know of a family directly impacted by recent raids, please reach out.
We will continue to do everything within our capacity to help
Please know that we stand firmly with our community and uphold zero tolerance for hate or violence.

A portion of our sales from today will be donated to organizations supporting families affected by recent raids. If you have the means, we also encourage donating directly to groups providing critical resources and aid.
Like many of you, we are angry and we are ready to be loud. At the same time, we ask that kindness be extended to those who are genuinely doing their best. Not everyone has the capacity or safety to strike.

What a year, to say the least. Like any journey, it came with its ups and downs, but we are so grateful to be closing out the year on a positive note as we step into a new one.
2025 brought tears, joy, growth, and the celebration of five incredible years of Little Barn. None of this would be possible without the continued love and support of our community—we are truly blessed by each and every one of you.

This Friday, July 25th, 2025, we proudly celebrate 5 years of Little Barn!
We are incredibly grateful to reach this meaningful milestone. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that our leap of faith—opening our doors during the uncertainty of the 2020 pandemic—would lead us to such an extraordinary journey, surrounded by a community that has become our family.
From day one, our mission has been rooted in love, passion, and dedication—not only for the animals, but for the people who walk through our doors. Over these five years, we’ve shared laughter, tears, fears, and hope. We've grown together, not just as a business, but as a living, breathing space of healing and connection.
Running a small business is not without its challenges, and ours have been many. Like so many others, we face daily fears in an unpredictable world, but we remain determined. Our journey hasn’t been easy—but it’s been worth every moment. And through it all, we’ve held on to the fearless energy that started it all, fueled by the dream of growing this Little Barn into something even greater—something enduring.

Yesturday our beautiful cousin and staff memeber at Little Barn Laura lost her husband unexpectedly. We got a call during service and immediately gave full support for Laura. We wanna apologize for the abrupt closure for the day and thank you for understanding. Part of owning a small family business has the perks of working with the greatest joy of your lives and in these unprecedented situation we stand together. We don't have the luxury to pick and choose days to close but we will never leave one of our very own behind. Vinny brought great joy to little barn and blessed us with 2 beautiful baby girls who are the future of little barn. We wanna express our deepest gratitude and support for Laura and her girls I'm sure if you've stopped by you've seen this beautiful family. Although Laura isn't asking for help We will be raising funds for her to help with this tragic loss and for her well being and that of her two beautiful daughters Scarlett 7 and Breña 5. We will have a box for donations if anyone would like to contribute as well as a Zelle number where you can send donations. All sales for Laura's hashbrown burrito will go towards helping any fincial burdens that arise with this loss. If you have any financial means to help you can also donate directly at the cafe. Thanks in advance and please hug and hold your loved ones tight you never know when they may leave this earth.
