Nothing but love
One thing we care a whole lot about is being a place where the whole fam can hang. Kids coming in dressed up in their princess dresses of superhero outfits. Babies that we’ve watched grow up from ultra sounds to 5th grade. A baseball team playing corn hole on our front patio.
We’re a family around here. And that’s how we like it.
Sure, it can get wild sometimes. But, that’s what makes being family, friendly so fun.
Bring the kiddos and take a load off.

It is so hard to believe that 30 years ago our parents found this little Greek restaurant a mile from our home for sale!
It truly was our mom’s dream, and together with our wonderful staff, our incredible customers and our supportive community we have reached this milestone! We have been honored to host family dinners, weddings, celebrations of life, birthdays, baptisms, memorable wine dinners, book clubs, engagements and more!
We have made friends and family here!
Our hope has always been to feed you well and make you feel at home!

Bernie is the newest member of the Dick Church’s family. From pre-natal appointments to her first-stop post hospital. We’re so thankful we get to journey this life together. Dick Church’s is so much more than a diner—It’s a family. It’s wild how somehow these 1970’s booths and counter tops invite us into each other’s stories. That’s what makes everything worth it. Getting to know all of you. 🧡

Dick Church's is a true gem in the heart of Costa Mesa. This vintage diner has been serving up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes since 1947, making it one of the longest continually opened restaurants in Orange County. The diner was renamed after Dick Church in 1972 and has been a beloved spot for locals ever since.
One of the unique features of Dick Church's is their live music on most Thursday evenings from 7pm-9pm. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day and enjoy some great tunes with friends. And speaking of friends, dogs and well-behaved goats are also welcome at this establishment!
Under new ownership since 2017, Dick Church's has maintained its original 1970s vibe while also making improvements to freshen up the place. The super friendly staff will greet you immediately upon arrival and make you feel right at home.
