1. 🍳 Why are my egg yolks so orange?
It’s due to the hen chicken’s diet. These are some happy hens! The orange, dark yolk is caused by a higher intake of carotenoids, which are found in grass, plants & yellow corn. In return, the egg yolk is rich in omega-3, vitamins such as A, D, E & K, B12, & antioxidants. An amazing source of nutrients and sourced locally at Chino Hills Farms.
2. 📺 Is that a flat screen up there?
Yes! One of our favorite pieces of furniture! It’s a 1970’s television that actually sat in the living room of a MeeMa. We hollowed out the TV (removing the tube), making the unit A LOT lighter, and then replaced it with a small flat screen TV. Sitting behind it is a DVD player playing vintage daytime programming.
3. ☕️ Holy Moly… what type of coffee is this?
Our coffee is 100% Colombian coffee, with their Arabica beans handpicked from the high-altitude mountains of Columbia. It’s a medium to dark roast coffee, known for its smooth, rich & full-bodied flavor profile. We get it from Dasher’s Spice & Beans.

June’s in is tonight and MeeMa’s will be OPEN!

To reach the breakfast & brunch restaurant and diner and cafe located on Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach, you can take the Metro Blue Line to Willow Street Station and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the location. Alternatively, you can also take the bus line number 61 or 101 that runs along Atlantic Avenue.
If you are driving to the restaurant, take the I-405 South and exit on Atlantic Avenue. Turn right onto Atlantic Avenue and continue driving for about 1.5 miles before reaching your destination. There is street parking available near the restaurant, or you can park at a paid parking lot nearby.
